Found this at an Amish estate sale. It is used by sitting it on top of a post. Then you wood or steel tubes from it. You would be able to walk up to 4 animals from it at a time.

tubes would fit in the slots . There are a few breaks in the cast iron. I tried to point them out in the pictures. Very rare and hard to find item.
