Using this mounting aid for getting on that horse while riding bareback is amazing.  You can also use it over your saddle as the "stirrup" length is adjustable.
This product uses the horses off shoulder to distribute your weight in the stirrup to easily hop on.  Strap then removes and you can wrap it around the horses neck to use as a handle or stuff into your saddle bag for those times on the trail when your horse is just too tall.
Product is safe for your horse, the amount of pressure put on the horses "armpit" is so little and the wide soft strap distributes the pressure fine.
